Hi, actually I find this course quite interesting and amusing because it teaches me about several business jargons such as "commoditization" and many others. As a budding adolescent, it is extremely useful as it will better my financial IQ and teach me business skills like marketing, using the Internet as e-commerce and others.

On the 1st day of the sabbatical, I was taught cool terms such as the "Long Tail" which includes online businesses, such as music and stuff. Also, we learnt about the software tech life cycle which is a transition from birth, to growth, to its pinnacle and to its recession and finally to its ebb which is death. Also, we gleaned some knowledge about the Pareto 80/20 principle, which basically is tells us that when a specific company puts in 20% of its high-ticket sales products, or effects, it will generally get back 80% of the sales revenue and the results. It's vice versa as well for the remaining 80%.

For today, I leanrnt more about e-commerce and how web 1.0 gradually shifts into web 2.0 and how specific online services such as google Adsense which has a seamless networking program and also flickr and bitorrent, which appeals to a younger and wider target audience.

I hope it will benefit me in the future.
